I noticed some irritation and annoyance, even a touch of anger during today's meditation. At first, I was curious about those feelings. And then I began to relate to those unpleasant feelings as if they were problems.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. dreamed of a world in which we didn't judge people by how they look. In celebration of MLK day, this week in the pause we think about how mindfulness can help us reduce our judgmental thoughts about ourselves and others.
